----------------------What's Up Doc?

Today was Lexie's first trip to the doctor and of course she had to get dressed up to go out. The doctor confirmed our suspicions, she is perfect in every way! The quote of the day goes to Lychelle who said "maybe we need some stuff if we are going out of the house". Of course she said this as we were pulling out of the garage without so much as a diaper in the car. This parenting stuff takes some getting used to. Baby steps...

    Tomorrow is Lexie's one week birthday! OMG...it's going by too fast already. I don't even have a name yet. I was thinking of Gram or Grams? Will Dad be Pops? I'm out of control, sending pictures. Not surprising, eh?

    Yep, leaving the house takes alot of thought. I learned early on to take at least one extra change of clothes, even if your road trip was only 3 1/2 minutes away, just in case baby decided to blow out the backside of her diaper, in the car seat, and a couple of beach towels just in case baby's head swiveled around like the exorcist and spewed green globs all over the back of your head and the seat in front of her. Incredible how these children have such a sense of timing! It only takes one time, and you'll know exactly what you need to pack! Hang in there! Love, Aunt DeeDee
